If my Pronto's battery low light is always flashing, no matter how long I leave it on the docking station, is it time for a new battery pack? I only ask, since it's less than a year old.

Start HereThen click on Search This Forum using ["Docking Station" Problems] (any word) as the criteria, and you should get more info than you ever could possibly want about said problems! MIKE This message was edited by MrKlaatu on 09/20/01 03:57.31.

when the low battery starts flashing, the Pronto does not check the battery any more. Charge the battery, then take it out and put it back in (all you need to do is break the contact, not totally remove the battery)
Checking a battery draws some juice, I guess this was done to make your battery last a bit longer (plus they might not have thought that anyone with a rechargeable would let it go that low. Note: the pronto does not like low batteries, you are better off not letting it get to that stage

Cheers guys - that's great.
It's only been off the docking station for so long because I was experimenting with a timer macro, but because my projectors "on" signal is stronger than its "off" I was getting my projector left on for half the night. Problem solved - docking station moved.
Thanks.
