Hi Folks,
I've had an RC5000 for about 18 months, and last night it bit the dust last night :-(
The screen has cracked at the device selection pulldown position, and from there the cracks go all over the screen. Definitely a 'wear and tear' problem, and the splinters have scattered throughout the panel under the screen membrane.
I know this has been a problem for many other people, so my question is this - Where is the best place in the UK to get this fixed, and for how much?
BTW: Great site, Daniel. It's been very useful over the months.

there are lots of references to broken screens on this forum just search for broken screen.
Im not sure if theres a uk supplier but there are a few in the states willing to export..
ive seen prices around $45 , youll have to fit it yourself or get someone like me to do it for you( there are also lots of instructions on the forum of how to do it) let me know how you get on..
