I had a customer that bought a TSU6000 Pronto Pro, and then contacted me saying that he had heard that the Pro would work with the Powermid RF extenders. This is the first I had heard of this, so I checked it out and found that both the X10 PEX01 Powermids and Pro are licensed for 418MHz. Of course this does not mean their encoding/decoding scheme is the same, but it does raise a possibility. At $26 the Powermids are a lot cheaper than the RFX6000. I plan to test them out, but was wondering if anyone else already has?

Thanks
Bill

No, I did not see those, I did a search for Powermid and didn’t find anything,, but I was quite sure that this tip had to come from somewhere on this site.

I am believe that X10 OEM's these for RCA and Radio Shack so they should be the same. Seams like an inexpensive way to go to get RF all over the house. The threads were not that definitive as to whether these worked every bit as well as the RFX6000. Any updates on performance?

Thanks
Bill
