In case you missed it in today's news in the What's New section, there are some color CCFs in the Files section now.

They do. Daniel divided the System CCF Files area into B&W and Color.

Since it's possible to get color CCFs working on a B&W remote *and* since B&W files work on a color remote, it still should be in the Pronto area. But as there are already hundreds of B&W files, I figured it best to separate them to a new section, but not a whole new remote catagory.

Good thinking Daniel. I pulled them last night.
Too bad Philips did not allow for an external DB of codes like the rcir.mdb in the old pronto. I will have to think about rewriting GENIRDB just to deal directly with a ccf by associating a device/panel/button with a named database entity of mfg/device/key. Probably would make it an external operation table driven. That way you could just run the program with the table against your ccf and your data base and the two would "merge" IR codes from the data base going to buttons in the ccf. Thoughts anyone?

It’s good news that Philips is taking ProntoProEdit out of a “beta” state and making it official. But what about us Pronto TSU1000 and TSU2000 users? It doesn’t look like Philips cares about us. :-(
