Hi, I use the Pronto TS-1000. I just formated my puter and need to reinstall Prontoedit. I had been using v1.05 but didn't have the setup.exe to backup before formating. It appears Philips doesnt have it on their site anymore or I cant find it. Is ProntoProEdit v3.2.0(for TSU6000) or ProntoEdit Universal v2.0(for TSU2000) compatable for use with the TS-1000 or must I use ProntoEdit v1.05 and were can I download it at? Any assistance would be appreciated.

ProntoEdit 2.0 and 3.2 can be used on the TSU-1000 to change something but since you aren’t able to Download to the Pronto with them, it’s not worth it.

Click on the following link to Download: -ProntoEdit 1.5

2.o works fine with a TSU1000.....you just have to remember to "Save as old format"

Steve, you only need to Save As, if you want to open it in 1.05. You can download directly from 2.0.

Wheelie4, 1.05 is actually on the Philips site, but under the model SBU890. Stupid isn't it.

The download for the 1.05 is right here on RemoteCentral. Just click on files and select Philips Pronto. Go to the "Here's where to get the software:"
area and click on the "Download ProntoEdit v1.05 or 2.0 & Firmware". The ProntoEdit 1.05 is the 2nd one down on the page.

In addition to saying that the CCFs here make the 940 better than the 2000 [!], that site that's selling the leather cases (see other thread) also says that its better because you can use PE 1.05 with it. Talk about false advertising!]
