Can I send a unmodulated IR code from my Pronto (RU890)?

That makes no sense. It is the modulation that has the data. What you might mean is baseband IR, i.e. no carruier just the envolope (modulation) which has the data. I do not believe you can set the carrier frequency to zero, but you could try. It is word 2 of the Hex pattern. Base band IR (i.e. IR with No carrier; On is on and off is off) is used by certain mfgs. It is Sony Slink for example

Yes, you are right. I mean baseband IR.
My idea is to connect a RF-module to the Pronto so I can control Philips lamp dimmer.
The problem is that I donīt know how to create a baseband code.
I have seen somewhere that you can type 0100 in word 1 of the hex pattern, but I donīt know the rest of the hex pattern.
