Two Questions:
1. When I try to print a thread in the Forum, everything shifts to the right about and inch or more and I lose text on the right hand side- any fix?
2. Is it possible to print a thread without the RC Banner or the "What's New column"- takes about 1/2 a ribbon or cartridge to print just those two.
Thanks

This is not a very elegant way, but if you're only interested in a few posts, just highlight (select) them with your mouse. For instance, click before "Topic: Printing from Forum" and select all the way down to [Return to Forum] [New Thread] [Search Forum]. Then choose print and make sure you set the Print Range to Selection. This method works for me using IE 5.5.
You can also experiment with Print Preview and set the zoom to something less than 100%. Then print from the Print Preview page. Again, I'm using IE 5.5 and have no idea what this stuff will do in a different browser or an earlier version of IE.

Y'know, IE 5.5's supposedly improved printing engine actually palls in comparison to IE 5.0. Sure, 5.5 has print preview, but 5.0 would automatically fit the page width to fit your printer!

You can also "copy" the highlighted portion and paste it into a text file.

Don't expect anything better from 6.0.
In "Print Preview" I get the words cutting off, no matter what percentage I set it at. The percentage is obviously for "on screen" only.
Is selecting a "Fit to page" or being able enter a simple percentage for printing all that hard to code? Obviously not, so why do 5.5 and 6.0 not have it? :-/

Why not save paper *and* ink?
Go to FILE > SAVE AS
and Save the whole page to your Desktop or a special Pronto Forum Folder?
The added benefit, when you open one of these saved pages (if you are on-line at the time) you are already at Remote Central and can go straight to any link on the page, or REFRESH and see of there are any new posts to that thread.

HMMMmmmm . . . . . . .
HIGHLIGHT > COPY > PASTE into WORD > SAVE into Special Pronto Forum FOlder in MY DOCUMENTS?
ALternately: PASTE into NOTEPAD > SAVE as a .txt File in MY DOCUMENTS?
Alternate-Alternate: Stay online 24/7 > With Remote Central as your HOMEPAGE > SAVE the Posts of Your Choice as FAVORITES in a Pronto Forum Folder
;-)
