I bought myself a Pronto today and having read through the Pronto edit manual, one of the first things I did (apart from having a quick play) was to update the software as it recommended.

It didn't seem to have any problems doing the update but now the remote is dead. If I touch the screen or any hard button nothing appears on screen. I have pressed the reset button but still nothing happens. Does anyone have any ideas ?

Nothing at all? No beeps, etc? Try leaving the batteries out for at least 8 hours then try again.

What firmware did you update it with?

If you have a 2000, do NOT update it with the 1.05 firmware. There is a special program you can download for updating the 2000.

BTW, if you do have a 2000, there was no reason to update it in the first place. The firmware is still the same.
