Hey i have a Digital Cable bo made by Motorola, and was wondering if any of you have descete codes for it. I am not sure but since i live in LA, Adelphia used these boxes either for there company or just for California, but if any of you have the descrete codes for it, it would be great!! Thanks

I am sorry to say this, but there is no sign of a model number on the box. The only things in the front that might have some relation to the model number is that it is an Interactive Digital Entertainment.

kabster- do you have a digital Cable box from Adelphia?

If it is Motorola-branded, chances are it is a DCT-1000 or DCT-2000.

No doubt a DCT-2000. Does it have an SPDIF connector on the back? If it does, then you no doubt have the DCT-2000. That connector is supposed to be used for DD5.1.

lol thos basterds said that it was dolby digital compatible, and yet the SPDIF is not installed. There is a slot for it, so i guess they installed the DCT-1000. Man that pisses me off. >:-( Is there any hope for me in getting descrete codes for this piece o' shit cable box. Sorry if I am dissing anyone that tends to love that model, but not that sorry to both motorola and adelphia for this and many other reasons. Thanks

That was my MAJOR problem when I first got the Pronto. Someone e-mailed me the codes, bless him. They are at home, and I will e-mail them to you this evening. Make sure your e-mail is enabled in your profile.

Joel,

I have a Motorola DCT2224 digital cable receiver. I found DCT2000 and DCT2244 in the files section, but the power codes do not appear to be discrete?!? Can you help me here?!? Do you know the differences between these receivers?

Thanks in advance for any thing that you can share!

Brad,

Mine is a DCT2224, and the CCF sent to me, supposedly for a 2244, works. If your e-mail is enabled I'll send it to you now,

Joel

So is it true? Do you have discreet on/off codes for a DCT-2244? Or is it just the toggle code?

I have a 2224 and its a toggle. (Gee that's a good word. Why didn't I think of that?) They call it "Power".

If you have separate on and off, it can't be a 2224.

This toggle/discrete business was just explained to me. So the answer is: I have the toggle codes, not the discrete on/off codes. You guys that want the discrete on/off are doing stuff beyond what I am doing as the basic toggle is sufficient for my needs.

Oh, and Jon, the model number is on a sticker on the bottom.

Well, it's late. I'm going to toggle off now.
