Just cant seem to learn the Pace DTR735 remote at all (its not irda AFAIK), does anyone know why? Its all i need to complete my first ccf so i had a look around in the files area of this site and found Matt Bumstead's Pace DTR730 component ccf - i loaded this and all works perfectly except the "TEXT" button and also i'm short of a few channels for my tv guide section (36,39,42,43,50-56,63,88,90,91,99). I've copied all the working codes to my ccf succesfully. I then tried using the "Alias" & "Delay" functions to fill in the missing channels but i just cant get it accurate enough :( Also when i look at the code of Matts 'double-digit' tv guide buttons (i.e Sky One - Channel 26) ProntoEdit reports it as learned, how do you LEARN a code for channels 10 upwards? Any help/advice greatly appreciated, John Bradbury.

John,
For channel "26". You need to assign to your Sky One button the codes for buttons 2 and 6
ie
Creat your button Double click it In the action tab;
Click alias Then select the code for Ondigital button 1 Add a delay of 0.1 sec Click Alias Then select the code for Ondigital button 2.
Add your graphic, then click Ok.
For ease though, I've e-mailed you my current .ccf which has all of the Ondigital channels set up (using the Nokia Box, but should work with your.)
Cheers, Guy

Thanks for the response Guy, Before i posted my problem i was trying to do as you suggested but not having much success. I've got it to work now by NOT including a delay - weird huh. I still dont understand though how in Matts ccf ProntoEdit reports his Sky One "Action" as Learned -

yet i have to alias to 2 & 6 to get the same result? Has he learned them by quickly pressing 2 & 6? Is that possible? P.s I'm using ru890 remote & ProntoEdit 1.05 - your ccf wont open, do i need PE2? Thanks again, John Bradbury.

Finally i've managed to learn the Pace735 TEXT button by learning it with my Sony receiver remote to 2 buttons and then holding both these buttons down, selecting learn with the pronto and then releasing 1 button 1 sec into the learning process - how bizarre!! Not sure if the code is clean but it seems to work 100% of the time so i'm happy. Cheers.

Sorry John,
I didn't realise you were using an ru890 remote.
To get a Pronto to open a .ccf made using the marantz 2.2 software, you need to first install a copy of the marantz v2.2 software (obviously in a different directory to your pronto edit) and open the offending .ccf.
Now "save as" and using the option tab at the bottom, change it to an old .ccf. You can now quit the marantz v2.2 software, and load the prontoedit v1.05. and download the newly saved .ccf to your pronto.
I have done the hard work for you, look in your e0mail.
Cheers,
Guy
