The link below will get you a configuration which is really slick. Great graphics and the operatiomn is well thought out. You may need to learn the codes for your specific unit, but the framework is the best I've seen. Thank Dan Haddix, he obviously spent a lot of time on this.

Neat discrete codes to jump to various important tivo screens exist. Try pressing 1-9 on the keypad from tivo central. 0 runs the cool tivo animation intro. The recent software upgrade to the stand-alone tivo box screwed up the anchor command a little bit, now that pressing tivo twice takes you to now playing, but from any other screen other than tivo central, the macro "Tivo" + "2" goes to the to do list (for example)
