I was just perusing the files section of the Pronto are just making sure I had the latest versions of everything when I came across this in the Prontoedit V2 download :-

ProntoEdit v2.0 is only for use with the TSU2000! This is not the forthcoming downloadable version designed for all Pronto users

What is this version and when is it coming out. Will it have advanced editing tools with similar features to the Ravedit program, our is it just a pipe dream and I should just keep juggling between Ravedit and ProntoEdit V1.05?

ProntoEdit V2 and RAVEdit work with all Prontos (except Pro) and also with RAV. However, you still have you to use the right product for downloading firmware.

RC5000 Set V2.2. works with all RC5000s and can save in Pronto 1.05 format.

I would expect a ProntoEdit v2.5 (or something) to come out -- which would basically be RAVedit with Pronto-specific items.

I really hope so. And the same for RC5000 Setup. Then we can all talk the same language for how to use the editor.

Although it might have been discussed elsewhere, I couldn't find the amswer to the following question:

Can ProntoProEdit 3.2 be used to create/modify .CCF files for pronto 1000 devices?

Yes, you will need to use PE 1.05 to download it to Pronto and therefor you will need to save it in the appropriate version. There is no advantage in using PPE

And the graphics get distorted when converted back to 4 color.
