How can I create a hidden panal? I mean a panal only visible to the eyes in edit mode or in prontoedit.

I want to know because I want to create aliases. I thought every panal with some type of action is always visible?

BB,

Open your CCF in ProntoEdit. Right-click the panel you wish to hide and click on "Is Hidden". This panel will now only be accessible from within ProntoEdit.

Once you have done this you will not be able to directly "learn" commands to this panel via the Pronto as you cannot view it on the Pronto itself. To get around this you may wish to create the panel, alias the necessary buttons and then hide it via ProntoEdit.

I've done exactly what you're attempting so feel free to contact me with any questions.

Chip is right on how to do it, but the rest is wrong.

You can get to a hidden panel on the Pronto if:
1) there is a jump to it from another panel
2) All panels are hidden on a device (or macrogroup) and you use the device menu (or macro menu) to access the device (macrogroup)
3) If you are in learn or edit mode.

Hidden really means that you cannot scroll to the panel in use mode.

Thank you to Chip and Anthony. I will try it.
