Hey folks,
Question: After updating my remote what should the rev levels read on the remote. I just want to insure all is correct.
I just updated my RC5000i with RC5000 Setup v2.2 and RC5000 & RC5000i Firmware 2MB US Upgrades from this site.
I put RC5000 Setup v2.2 onto my clean system with no problem then ran 2mbmarantzupdate.exe which ran fine on the computer.
My remote came up with "Invalid configuration file version. Revert will restart Pronto with the original configuration." I had no other choice except to hit the revert button which wiped my old controls out. I have them backed up so no problem.
When I looked at the version numbers on my RC5000i I got:
Sys 4.8 11/30/2000
App V5.1 10/30/2000
Marantz v2.01 05/10/2001.
Thinking my app version should be 5.2 I reset the remote with the back button, updated the software from RC Setup 2.2 to get the same result.
