Is it possible to get a bad code from learning from an original remote?

Not 100% sure what you mean by bad code, but quess you mean it has not been learnt correct.
And yes it is possiable, with one of my remotes I only get a 30% hit rate of learning correctly,
If you look at the FAQ`s there is a whole section on diff tricks to learn the code.
