Toshiba products generally do not support discrete codes. The best we can do is make work arounds but even those can be finicky at times. What is it that you require?

I am looking for a way to make sure the TV turns "off" when I want it off and "on" when I want it on.
I basically copied a bunch of CCF's for my equipment and made a few changes. When I switch from SAT/DVD to Radio or CD I want to make sure the TV is "off" and when I switch back I want to TV to be "on".
Also how do I make the backlight stay on permanently or for a duration of time (2 minutes)
Thanks Mel

There are no discrete on and off codes for the Toshiba. You can find some Picture Size Codes if you do a search.
To set the back light to stay on for 2 min: Hold the little Pronto icon on the screen for a couple of seconds until the Setup Menu appears. Then click on LCD Light and Hit the Right Hard Key (Located on the bottom) until it reads 120 sec.
