Does anyone know of discrete on and off codes for the Velodyne sub-woofers?
Before you say it...I know there is an auto-on feature on this sub-woofer, but would rather turn it on and off myself.

Well since I wrote my original message I figured out that the Velodyne only has an 8-bit function code and therefore it was not too big a deal to go thru all 256 possible codes.
As far as I can tell, there are NOT any discrete codes for the Velodyne. This is assuming it only reconizes ONE device code.
So I'm back to the auto-on power setting...yuck.

When I purchased my HGS-18 around a year ago, I contacted Velodyne and spoke with 1 of their engineers. He told me that their subwoofers do not have discrete on/off codes. His suggestion was to use the auto on feature, which I am not keen on using either.
I would assume that this means that older/lower end models will not have the feature either.
