I was told (by John on this board) that Sys. V 4.8 is the newest system and the anwer to all our problems.
Where is it? Philips' site, www. pronto.philips.com, only has 4.6 as the latest download.
A little help? (OK, I've already gotten a LOT of help on this board!! Thanks everybody!!!)

Dean, the firmware I speak of is for the Marantz RC5000. The RC5000 and the Pronto are basically the same remote, but I'm not sure if the update is compatable with the Pronto's software.
I will say, that with this updated firmware,
(SYS V 4.8, APP V 5.1) there are NO charging problems with the RC5000.
