Does anyone know if there is a way of setting a specific volume on the 3801, i.e. jump to -20db for one input and -30db for another? My optical/direct inputs (DVD, Tuner, etc) produce much louder volume at a given DB setting so I want to be able to set a specific volume without having to have macros that make the volume go up/down by set amounts.
Thanks in advance,
Sean

I'm pretty new to programing a Pronto, but here's one idea that'll work if you don't have descrete codes for volume. In the FAQ there's an example of how to make a button repeat. Do that with your vol down until you know that it is at zero no matter where it starts from, then do a repeat for a volume up just the number of times you need to get to the different levels you need. Just a thought.

Yeah, I've done it exactly that way already. It's just not very elegant, and I was hoping that someone had managed to figure out the discrete codes, oh well thanks for your reply anyway.

I'm not aware of any way to do what you're asking other then repeating volume downs etc but that would be a long macro
