I have been using ProntoEdit 1.05 for quite a while with no problems at all. Suddenly, I can't select an open panel or a button (no red frame appears around it). Deleted SW and re-installed it, but still can't select panels or buttons.
I would appreciate any help on this matter.

Did you try pressing the "Alt" key as you are selecting a button with the mouse?

Martin, many thanks for your reply. It seems that I had a problem with my Win98. Now the SW works Ok.
