I dont know. It has 4 tagle switches in it that have to match the fans. What is RF and IF?

I have never seen an "IR" or infared controlled ceiling fan before, so the fan you are trying to control must be "RF" or radio frequency controlled.

The Pronto and Marantz remotes are IR based, which means you can't control the fan directly from the remote, as the two are incompatable.

You must use some sort of interface. I think X-10 makes such a device.
