Got my Pronto and the case is deep Blue green (not black!!!)
this is quite unique(nice touch)
I was just wondering what colors other peoples Prontos were? Are there Blacks, or any other colors out there?

I believe they're all that deep blue color. Oddly enough, for the first three weeks I never noticed what color it was - the room isn't particularly bright, and it just appeared a dark gray. Then one day as it was sitting in it's charger under a lamp I suddenly noticed it was really a very deep blue. "Hey, wait a second..."

I got mine on Monday. It is, indeed, deep blue-green. The docking station has not arrived yet, what color are those?

Well, if it matches the pre-production model I reviewed it'll be metalic silver.

My docking station is silver. Looks very nice with the blue/green pronto sitting on top. Sort of art deco meets Flash Gordon.

I've taken to using the docking station as a base. It sits on my coffee table, with the ac adapter not attached as I'm not sure what to do about routing the power cord. I suppose I'll only plug it in when it needs a charge. Until then it makes for an attractive, stable and comfortable base.

Billy: Huh? On mine the cord comes out the back, with the charging light facing front and the word "Philips" readable. You sure you just don't have yours backwards? :-)

Too bad they didn't make the cord removable so it didn't matter... Certainly would get a higher WAF rating.

Hmm, on mine the cord IS removable. Perhaps they changed that in the final version.

I also was surprised about the color. When I first got it, I thought it was a blue/grey/black. Then the sunlight hit it the next day and I saw that it was actually green.

Weird.

I hope the plastic holds up to sunlight and age.

I don't have a pronto yet. I was wondering if when the backlight is on if it looks like the picture of the RC5000 lit?

daniel, if you want the pronto to face the screen so you can use it in docking station, the cord comes out the front of the unit. front being the beaming end of the unit. so if its on a table in front of you the cord has to flop on top of said table and not just drop down the charging light side . IF however you choose to have the dock against the wall like they must do in belgium then its perfect. p.s. youve done a great job on this site.the new look rules!!

Billy, the remote was created in Palo Alto, California. The development team includes people of several nationalities.
