Sony SAT-A50 Discretes

According to the Files, no discrete ON/OFF exists for this DSS box. Is it just that nobody's been able to locate them or Sony designed the box without discrete codes, and thus it will never change?

They simply don't exist. Sony forgot to include them. The x55 also misses discrete codes, but did add "System Off" (turns a bunch of Sony devices off with one command). The T60 has discrete codes.
