I’ve been building my ccf for about 10 days now and so far I’ve managed to grasp most of the concepts but this one has me stymied.
I’m not exactly sure how to phrase this question. Maybe if I explain the screen layout and what’s happening it’ll make sense.
Basically I have a number of panels under the device list TV Stations. Each panel is labeled for the stations that it contains. ie Music, Locals, Movies Superstations. When I run the emulator and I touch each tab on the panel the screen changes to that tab. If I touch the tab for movies it switches to movies. Now I added a panel for this device and called it Locals. When I run the emulator I can see the Locals tab if I arrow through the list. Here is where I have the problem.
If I touch the locals tab the screen jumps to the movie tab. All the others work like their supposed to. When I check the properties for the Locals tab it’s jump to command is listed as movies. When I open the list I can’t see the locals under the device list. Is shows every tab except the Local tab. I think that this is the problem but can’t figure out how to get the Local tab to show up in the Jump to menu.
Hope this makes sense
Frank

If I've interpreted correctly, you have something like the following...
- DEVICES - TV Stations - Main-panel-with-tabs-on-it - Locals - News - Sports
The Jump for your 'local' tab should point to the Locals panel. It will be in the list of devices with the name "TV Stations - Locals".

The indentations disappeared in the menu in my previous response. Hopefully this will convey it better.
-DEVICES ----TV Stations ------ Main-panel-with-tabs-on-it ------ Locals ------ News ------ Sports

Hey Jeff, That's part of my problem Jeff. When I open the jump to drop down list the Locals panel isn't there.
Can I add the name to the drop down list?

Have you checked that the name you have given the Locals panel is actually Locals.

I think I figured out what I was doing wrong.
The problem was with the rest of the panels not the Locals one. For example if I brought up the super panel and then highlighted the Locals tab and checked properties the jump command was for music instead of Locals. I had to go through each panel and highlight the Locals tab for that panel go to properties and change the jump command to local. After I did that it worked.
I’m sure that there’s a simple reason, but being new to this I don’t know what it is. Something to do with file associations maybe?
Thanks for everyones input.
