I have a pronto that controls a Sony TV and Panasonic VCR. After using the remote for no particular amount of time it stops changing the VCR's channels and the TV's volume. If I remove the battery and reinsert it it will work. I have tried to re download the CCF file and update the remote. Please help.

Things to try:
- make sure you have the current firmware
- download a fresh copy of the firmware
- don't let the battery get low

If none of the above correct it, try downloading your CCF about five times in a row. It's errie but that sometimes works. :-)
