Put the TSU2000 on the charger this morning - there is a dim light showing on the charge indicator before I put it on and a dim light after -- previously a bright light came on and stayed until the TSU2000 was fully charged - anybody experience this problem? - or did it go "gunnysack" on me?

When the charger is not charging, you can see a very faint light in a dark room, that is normal and is considered off. If the battery did not charge (the light did not go on) there can be several reasons.
1) Battery is full
2) Pronto is not making contact with charger, is not well seated
3) battery is not making good contact with Pronto (gold pins)
4) led in charger is bust
5) bad battery
6) bad charger
7) bad Pronto

Here are some tests that might help you find the problem:
a) how long did you use the Pronto - I think the light comes on for a min or two when you place the Pronto on it, but I am not sure.
b) jiggle it on the charger, if it works, then the answer was 2
c) remove and replace the battery, might help if it is 3
d) use Pronto until battery is almost dead, then try and charge it, after an hour or two on the charger (assuming the light did not go on) remove and replace the battery, if the icon (of the battery disappeared then it is getting charged and the problem is 4
e) get a straight metal object, (like paperclip or pen) and rub it against the four pins on the charger, if you see sparks, or the light flash, then the charger is OK

Basically the dim light lets you know it's functional. Some folks have had issues with power supplies etc. and dit turns out their charger didn't have the faint glow.

mine doesn't light at all. my copper contacts didn't touch my battery so i had to "fix" them and now the light doesn't go on at all... i've tried to readjust the contacts again to see if it would work again, but still nothing...
