I don't know if anyone else has run into this problem, but if you have one of the new high definition Mitsubishi DSS boxes, like the SRHD-5, there is an issue with switching from high definition to standard definition. On the OEM remote, you have to press the ACTION button, followed by the INPUT button to switch. Pronto will learn the ACTION command, but apparently on the OEM, the INPUT command sends out a macro. Now ProntoEdit says the command is learned, but whenever I test it, it does not switch modes. What I think is happening is that ACTION switches something on the OEM, so that it will send out a special command. This command may be too long for ProntoEdit to learn properly. If anyone can help me or if anyone has broken down that OEM macro please reply! If the customer has to pick up another remote to change between HD and SD, it defeats the purpose of having a Pronto. Please Help!

I have the same problem. The Pronto is not able to learn the HD/SD button even after ACTION is pressed. Thanks in advance for any help on this!

If you load the only ccf file for the Mits 400/500 in the Mits section of the Pronto files you will have a working code for this. I found that the codes were reversed when I used them so had to just put the standard TV commands in the HDTV icon and visa versa. Let me know if this works for you. What I really want are discrete On and Off codes as opposed to a generic ON/Off which is what I have now.
