I picked up the usa-19w adapter but pronto still won't connect. It installed on to com2. Com1 is open and I have seen where sometimes it is necessary to install on com1 in order for the pronto to see it. But how do you do this?
I am running windows ME on a new toshiba satellite laptop.
The keyspan shows up in device manager and tests ok.
I just have no idea how to change com ports or force something to install on a different com port.
mucho thanks for any advice!

Use the system bios setup program. Usually you would hit during the self test to get into the setup program. Make sure that the I/R port is turned off and check to make sure your modem is not conflicting as well....
