I have a chance to buy an RC-5000 that's only a few months old for about $75.00. The catch is that the friend who's selling it lost the charging base and the serial PC cable during a move. Can I purchase these anywhere?

Sorry, I didn't add the important bit. You don't need the RC5000 base. If you find a Pronto base cheaper, just buy it. The cable you can buy via a Marantz or Pronto dealer as a part or you can buy a Kodak digital camera to 232 cable from any Kodak digital camera dealer.
