Does anyone know if there is another publication out there that does a better job explaining how to program the Pronto remote? Most would agree that the manual that comes with the remote does not come close to what you really need to know. Is there a book or supplement that is sold at bookstores/online/etc. that consumer can buy. I really need help with programming my remote, but sometimes feel that I need a programers class to do it. Pls help.

In the file section you can find the Pronto, ProntoEdit, RC5000 and RC5000setup manuals.

Brenan,

Another option that helped me was Daniel's review here of the Pronto ... both the 1000 and 2000, his descriptions were much clearer and covered both Pronto and ProntoEdit based programming ... hope this helps ... kjw

The RC5000 Setup manual is much better than the ProntoEdit manual.

I live by the FAQ sheet in the files section.
