Hi, This is weird: I have downloaded several ccf's from this website to use. In one of them, there are bitmaps for "watch something" or "listen to music". If I insert those bitmaps into my ccf, it looks perfect in ProntoEdit, but the bitmaps are not showing on the Pronto Screen, nor in the Emulator. I tried everything with deleting them, re-applying, I even tried to replace them by other bitmaps. It just won't show up. What am I doing wrong? Are there limitations, e.g. "not more than 1 bitmap per panel"?? PLEASE HELP, or I gonna throw it against the wall!!!!! ;-)) Thanx, Sam

I'm very new to this myself (As of Yesturday). I Think they will only show if they have an action asigned to them. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Craig is correct. If you do not have an action assigned, the button will not show up. If you want to have the button show up just for looks and have no action assigned (or use it as a 'Jump' button like with tabs), you can just assign it as a DELAY for the default 0.1 seconds.

You are correct, sir. Buttons only show up if they have an action assigned to them. I usually put a delay on new buttons so they'll show up while I'm figuring out exactly what to do with them.

This is GREAT, thank you very much!! I was searching and thinking for hours, couldn't find a word about that. I will try this out this evening. Thanx again for your help! Sam

Sam have you read the FAQ, there is a link at the bottom of the page, it answers a lot of questions like the one you asked above

One little pointer, if you use delays to "test run" your CCF then you'll be best to learn on the remote. All you need do is learn over the button, the Pronto will automatically remove the delay and replace it with your signal.
Note that even without an action assigned you can still see the buttons in LEARN and EDIT mode... assuming you assigned the bitmap to all four states -- active selected/unselected and inactive selected/unselected. This is where the "inactive" setting is used.
