Please help me with this...
I have a JVC VBX888 Receiver... now... in the TSU2000 database is it a pre-amp or a tuner???
I cant decide.

Steve! A receiver has a pre-amp and a tuner component.Marantz was THE first company in the 50ies to phisically combine both components togather and caled this NEW devica a receiver. NJP

so you're saying i'll have to use some codes from the tuner and some from the pre-amp???

i believe there is a CCF in the file section for your reciever. May be easier just to use it and make the changes you need.

It might be HK, but it wasn't 1972. I built a Heathkit 100w rms receiver in 1969 and my 1971 (first week of college) Sony STR-6055 (STR = stereo receiver) is still in occasional service in a mountain cabin in Brazil.
