I have a TSU2000 (1 week old) and have configured the entire home and device sections to use tabbed panels, instead of scrolling panels. This works fine - well most of the time - but here is the problem:
Although all tabs are hidden and the jump actions works as desired, the right side scroll bars appears "sometimes" when jumping from a 3-tab panel to a 2-tab panel (please see the design below for details on how the panels are setup).
I wonder if someone could explain why I get this behaviour. When checking the operation from ProntoEdit, using the emulator, it works perfectly. Also when the new configuration is downloaded to the pronto it works perfectly. However some time after using the system and switching between different devices, macros, home panels and back to the mixed-tab panels I get the appearance of the scroll bars. Once the scroll bars appear, they continue to appear each time I select the device. I suspect the problem is related to the mixing of 2 and 3 tabbed outlines in the panels.
Panel design: All devices in my CCF are configured with hidden tabs, each tab having a jump action to the desired panel. However, I have a situation where I created a 3-tab and a 2-tab panel for the same device (i.e. a total of 5 hidden panels for the device). Essentially, the 2-tab layout is to control the settings common to all the other panel buttons (the 3-tab layout), but each of those 2 tabs have slightly different controls and/or IR codes (hope this makes sense).

Arrows only appear if there is a non-hidden panel in that device to scroll to.

Daniel, I completely agree with yor statement because after all, I read a lot of your comments in this forum before I bought ot even attempted to use the pronto. However, the strange thing is all the panels for all devices are marked as hidden; i.e. they all appear as [panel-name] and a right-click on the panel shows the "Is Hidden" checked for all panels. The only panels that are not hidden in the entire configuration are those for template devices (I keep some in the configuration), timers and macros.

Been away for a while but I was able to work out what's going on. The scroll bars will appear in hidden panels when the 'mode' button is used. It allows for the selection of tabbed panels in learn or macro edit mode by scrolling through the panels instead of the tabs. However, I have found that consistently on some devices, after learning new IR commands on any tab other than the first, the scroll bars remain after returning to 'use' mode. Uploading the configuration to ProntoEdit and downloading it to pronto usually fixes this (i.e. the scroll bars disappear).
