I've tried to up-load from my pronto to prontoedit and I am getting this error message: "Failed to get valid
information from pronto". This is the first time I've tryed to upload from my pronto in about a year. Never had this problem before.

One way to help avoid this is activate the LCD and ensure the remote is on the Home panel. I've found trying to "ignore" this error won't work (the downloaded file is invalid).

I have the same problem. I have tried to upload/download but get the same error message. I then tried to reinstall the firmware, got the same message and was asked to hit the reset button. The reset failed, but left me with the my original CCF, but I still can't upload or download??? Help please.

I had the same problem, and the solution was to do what Daniel suggested.
