Greetings,

I recently purchased an Alpine 7836 head unit (beautiful by the way) and tried loading the IR commands from the remote to my Pronto. I was successful in learning them but they didn't work on the Alpine. I thought it would be sweet to integrate the Pronto into a auto sound system.

Thanks,

My pioneer works great with my pronto.
also have a buddie with a awia in his car we did that works too .
Try going to radio shack and get an infrared sensor card its like 3 bucks Cat.No. 276-1099
or point your pronto at a survailance or web cam
it will assure your pronto is emitting ir.
if you look at your alpine remote that way too it might help you see where it emitts from.
you might try a peice of paper between pronto learning led and alpine remote .
