Nope. You can only modify the center 240x219 pixels (out of 240x320 pixels). You *can* customize the HOME button icon and, through "hidden" pages, disable the scroll icons.

Ok, but does anybody know if the menues ar part of the firmware or part of the ccf downloaded into Pronto?

Is anybody else interested in changing this or am I the only one. May bee it could be changed in new firmware upgrades if we ask Phillips.

Carsten:
The menu's are part of the ccf not off the firmware,
however the firmware may contain a kind off default ccf(menu) that you can use when you Rese=t or revert to the factory default.
All: Of course its possible to make ur own user interface you have to use the program ProntoEdit

Hope to have been of any assitance

It is possible using V2.0 and higher with RC5000 setup software.

Perhaps I'm not understanding the question, but if all you're trying to do is prevent entirely the ugly list of macros and/or equally ugly list of devices from showing up, then this is precisely what I've done.

Simply go into the setup utility (press and hold the RC5000 icon) and click on "Hide Macro" and "Hide Device".

The drawback is you lose the device and macro names in the title bar, but this is easily remedied with a frame.

Hope this helps.

Michael, you can only do that on the RC5000 not the Pronto.

Lara, the type of stuff Carsten is talking about is in the firmware not the CCF.

The only stuff you can change is what Daniel mentions in the first reply above.

And Carsten, Philips has been asked. It might happen one day. If it does, the earliest we could see any of it is in V3 which will come out for the color Pronto. But somehow I doubt it.
