I really wasn't paying attention when I downloaded the old file from my old pronto to my new TSU2000. I first noticed that the IR commands didn't seem to be transferred over, then when I press a button that included several macro functions, the remote freeked out. Is this caused by not having the new version 2 software? Will installing the new software and downloading to the TSU2000 fix the problem?

You need to download files to your TSU6000 with ProntoEdit v2.0. If you have an old version on their now, uninstall it, DELETE EVERYTHING in it's directory EXCEPT your file, delete c:\windows\pronto.ini and install 2.0.

Thanks for the help! After reading about the problems this could cause, it worried me that I'd ruined the remote. Will the configuration that I spent all this time making, work with the new software? Or will I have to redo everything?

Don't delete your saved ccf files just delete (c:\windows\pronto.ini) file then install 2.0 also don't update pronto in tools if its a tsu2000 , youll kill it.

That's why I suggested deleting everything in the pronto directory (except for his file)... otherwise that little ol' "prontoupdate.exe" may hang around. :-)
