The subject says it all. Will it navigate faster than a TS1000, assuming the same amount of information?

No, speed here isn't determined by memory, rather by the processor which is identical. Technically the extra memory on the TSU2000 could be considered a "bigger hard drive" rather than "more system memory", which I believe remains at 512kb.
