Ok, all the UK members of this forum will know that none of the Sky digital boxes have a 'timer' function. So what I want to do is to use the timer function of my Pronto to turn the Sky box over to the right channel at the designated time. I've got the Sky box as a device in my ccf. When I set a timer, I only seem to get the option of start & stop times. How do you set the function? Would I need to copy the whole device into 'timer' in PE, or is there a way to navigate to the device when programming a timer? Also, as Sky channels are all 3 digit numbers,(ie. Sky Sports 1 is 401) will I need to programme 3 timers for that?
Keep answers as simple as possible please!

Set up a button that will turn sky to the relivant channel somewhere (any where) and then when you set the timer in ProntoEdit click on action and go to that button (the same as setting up an Alias) and then the timer will call that button at the relivant time.

Hope this helps

Ross, thanks. That's what I expected to have to do, but the Problem is: I don't see 'Action'!

there is a box beside named start action in prontoedit, click on it.
If you are using the Pronto, it works like an alias, click on the page/button that you want to alias using the menues.
