Some time ago I read that it's possible to have functions that are not on the original remote to work through Pronto.

I cannot remember where I read it.

Is there anyone who knows how or where I can finf more about it?

Thanks in advance

Did you try a search? In order to do this you would have to parse the hex codes and to some cutting and combining? What functions that are not on your original remote would you need anyway?

Yeah I tried a search. I'm looking for the display-button, which is on my Sony Receiver, but not on my remote. It's not a toggle-switch, but it browses through the different kinds of display: INFO, KIND OF STATION, TIME etc. It's a RDS-function actually and I figured that it might be on some remotes controling a Sony Tuner. But none of the posted files here have any.

I can not figure out a way to program tivo onto my pronto tsu2000. I could really use some help! Also, one more thing I programmed my tv, dvd player, when i switch my current set up (dvd) to tv mode, the tv power always turns the television off. I can't figure out how how to switch commands w/out turning it off.

Jim,

you must use Discrete Codes for power on. See the FILES-section on www.remotecontrol.com

Send me an email and let me know which tivo you have and I will send you a ccf. I have both a standalone tivo and a DirecTiVo
