Does anybody have a copy of the Pronto CCF from the middle eastern hotel (The one that looks like a giant sail and has Prontos in every room) I would be very interested to see what a profesionally (No disrespect to the CCFs posted here, I use them myself) produced CCF would look like, bearing in mind that it would be designed for total technophobes ie hotel guests.
Thanks in advance

I have every respect for the work put into these CCFs, and as I said, I use them myself. At risk of repeating myself I would jst like to see the result of a, no doubt, highly paid "professional" designer. Now get back in your box Bob!

FYI, I believe that hotel is in Dubai.

That is correct the hotel is in Dubai and is currently the worlds tallest, it is named the Burj al-Arab Hotel. Although I've not had the pleasure of being a guest, I have seen the hotel on a work trip to Abu Dhabi. Very impressive it is too. If I'd known that it had pronto's in every room perhaps I would have booked in for a night. If you are interested there are a few small pictures at this address. [Link: cityvacations.co.uk]Lee.

Hey Andy from this link [Link: jumeirah-beach.com] you can notice that they are using the default Pronto buttons (at least on the picture they are showing. So if they did use a -highly paid "professional" designer.- I would have to say they got screwed. By the way there are many professional installers of high end home theater equipment and other stuff (there was a videoconference installer asking some questions here the other day).

I just checked out the above site. That is awesome. The deluxe suite has its own theater. But for 6000 a night I could get one hell of an hdtv.

Deluxe Suite seems to be their "lowest quality" room. Its rate tops out at $1042 a night. Too bad I don't have any reason to go to Dubai.
