My pronto stopped learning ir codes . It is abt one year old and was working perfectly. Anyone have a clue as to what could be the problem. Yes I did just install the updated versions of pronto edit and the software upgrade.

When using ProntEdit and my 2000 stops learning, I use the reset thingy on the bottom and it starts learning again.

Try "learning" when the unit is NOT connected to ProntoEdit. There have been some threads discussing that doing so is not reliable.

I have tried both ways. I have programed this thing 20 times with no difficulties. I downloaded the new pronto edit and the upgrade and now it doesn't work. I even wiped it clean, reinstalled the original programing and reset it. no luck. I think I will send it back to phillips and let them figure it out.
