Lemme guess, you just got this thing. There are a few ways to do this. The easiest way is to just start teaching codes to the buttons that are on your display by default.
The cool way is to get yourself some prontoedit action goin' on. If you do this, you will become a perfectionist. I highly suggest that you start with downloading prontoedit (
[Link: pronto.philips.com]) and hit the files section of this site (
[Link: remotecentral.com]), there you will find files called ccf's. These are the configuration files for Pronto. Download a ccf or ten and start manipulating them with ProntoEdit. If you've got any experience with CAD or other drawing programs you will be at a serious advantage, if not you'll still do fine if you stick with it. It took me a week to get my ccf setup the way I want it, and I still tweak it from time to time. Best advice I can give is to learn from other people's work. There are some good designs in this site. You should probably also stick to a theme; keep all of your transport controls and numeric pads similar, it'll help you get comfortable with your setup more quickly. Read the FAQ, watch (and search) this forum for specific questions, but most of all enjoy it. These remotes can do some seriously cool things.
