On my main home page I have the following

PreAmp - Jumps to the Preamp, where I have input selectors

DSS - Aliases to select DSS from PreAmp page

CD - Aliases to select CD from PreAmp page

TV - Jumps to TV page

DVD - Aliases to select DVD from PreAmp page

VCR - Aliases to select VCR from PreAmp page

Projector - Jumps to projector page

Lights - Jumps to lights page

All the input selections work from the PreAmp page. DVD, DSS, and VCR aliases all work from home page, however the CD alias from the home page does not trigger the input change (even though the command it aliases works fine)....

I am at my witts end on how to fix it. I have deleted the button from the home page, verified the code, run the preamp CD button numerous times to make sure it actually works etc..

Any suggestions as how to fix this problem?

Does it *appear* to work (ie. the Pronto goes through the correct motions) or does it not even attempt to send the signal?

It goes through the motions... I have hard coded the signals in for now i.e. I relearned the IR commands for the CD button on the main page, and it works, but I am still wondering why it isn't working properly using the other (preferred) method.
