Can I use a pen like my Palm Pilot Pen to pick at the Prontos screen? (to avoid fingerprint...)

Best Regards

Peter

Peter -

Whatever you use, *do not* press hard! The Pronto's screen does not respond better the harder you press, and you're liable to crack the screen! A very *light* touch is all it should take, no matter what you use. I can tell you that the Palm Pilot stylus has scratched up my Palm Vx screen in the Graffiti area, so be careful (besides, you shouldn't need to drag it across the screen on your Pronto like you need to in order to write on the Palm).

I use the eraser side of a pencil. Soft touch, yet hard enough to make the screen react. Bonus, they are always handy!

Whatever you do, don't use something sharp. Pointy is fine, but not sharp.

I use the pilot stylus as well, I have it velcro'd onto the side of the screen. I also have a palm pilot screen protector on the pronto. It works well, I don't worry about scratching the screen.
