Honestly no. Perhaps the problem is the set is "more sensitive" in service mode? You should try the code in a normal channel macro and see if it still happens. If not, then you can try getting a "dirty" code specifically for your macro that MAY not double-sense.

just a thought, but what happens if you put in the command TWICE (in quick succession), does it jump up four times?

if it jumps an odd number maybe you could use (an admitidly convoluted) a sort of "three up, two down" sequence to effectively go "up one". no idea if it'll work but may be a work around.

Did Anthony's suggestion work? If not I thought of a variation on the same idea:

0000 0067 000d 0001 0060 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0452 0018 0452

Move the repeat pairs to the once section and add 1 set of repeat pairs that do nothing (except send the stop or leadout value).

Good luck,
Craig

Did you try the Down button in a macro to see if it happens there also?

I have the same problem as Jon when I use a macro to change the video settings from "standard" to "movie" using the menu on a Sony KV-61XBR48.
When the macro asks for "down" twice it goes down 4 times even with a 2 second delay.
It did work once when I pointed the remote away from the TV.
The buttons work correctly when I in input the commands manualy. I am using a TSU-2000.
Does it make any difference that I made the macro without Pronto Edit?
Any other suggestions or confirmations of previous suggestions would be apreciated.
