The Beo4 remote contains a (sub menu function)if that makes sense. Meaning that when "List" is pressed... it cues up different functions such as Speaker, etc. These functions or buttons are displayed on the Beo4's LCD display screen. The "Speaker" function needs to be accessed to turn on the different speaker modes. Speaker 1, Speaker 2, Speaker 3, Speaker 4 (Enhanced Stereo Playback), Speaker 5 Dolby Surround. When you press List, Speaker, Format, its like a "Virtual Button". There is nothing in the forum that relates to this so I hope someone that has had this wonderful experience can help. Throwing the remote and whole system out has crossed my mind several times in dealing with these configurations....but its too expensive.
