I'm considering an open box purchase of a Pronto TS 1000. The store is asking $200, but I may be able to get them down to $180 or so. The unit works, but has smudges, etc. that indicate some use. No manual/software. Is this a good price, or should I hold out for less? I know that Mercata is selling them for $250 but the site is going out of business...not too reliable.

$180 seems good providing there are no issues with the unit (be sure to check out screen quality).

I got my open box TSU2000 for 199. didnt include box, or software but came with 2 of 4 batteries, the manual and the cable. 199 was the marked price, down from 400 So, i would say that 180 for a 1000 would not be too great a deal....

Well, considering that the list price is the same... and that for most people the 1000 has more than enough memory...
