From the remotecontrol.com website I have tried numerous times to download theuser manual for the 5000i and everything during and after download the screen is blank. I have tried searching for the .pdf file and it doesn't exist. It takes 3-5 minutes to download but after it is done nothing is there. What am I doing wrong?

More than likely, you're not doing anything wrong. If the web site is too busy it may not download completely. When the web site asks what you want to do with the download (i.e. open it up or save it to a disk) what do you choose? If this user manual is being downloaded as a zip file look in your WinZip folder for the file. Also look in the folder called "unzipped". Although the WinZip program usually asks you if you want to unzip the download it may do it automatically. I hope this helps.

Martin,
Thanks. This makes me feel better. I have never reached any of the above points. No "what do you want to do with this file", no "save as" nothing, nada.
It doesn't exist as zip or anything anywhere.
I'll try it again so I can atleast start to stumble through the remote and then post more substantive questions to this forum.
