When I press the TV button on the home page it turns my Sony TV off? How do I stop this from happening?

Don't hit the button any more! Seriously though, do you have discrete codes or have you learned the code off your Sony remote? If you just learned the code off the remote eveytime you hit the button it is going to either turn off or on.

It was a Sony code pre-programmed in the TSU2000. It doesn't exactly match my KV35V36, but it was the closest for a start.

I just checked the file section for discrete code but none were listed. There are a bunch of CCF's for Sony TV's in the file section [Link: remotecentral.com]The first one says several discrete codes are listed for Sony TV's

Mike, if you, like me have not gotten into using ProntoEdit yet you can fix this by following the advice in Daniel's 12/28 reply to this thread: [Link: remotecentral.com]

Mike-
I ran into the same problem, I ended up deleting the action code in the properties menu. When you right click over the symbol on the home page and go to properities it has a action code there, I just deleted it and only had it jump to the TV-1 page with no IR code sent.

On the TSU2000, the TV device seems to default to sending the POWER code each time you select it. Solution is to delete the function.
There's lots of Sony discrete codes under the "discrete codes" section. :-)

This message board is wonderful, however, I still have the problem. I followed Dan's 12/28 rec. from the attached thread and nothing happened. I've tried deleting/changing the command per Ricardo (12/28) and the changes won't stay. Every time I go back to verify the change, it has defaulted back to where I started. Dan, in your last response above - how do you delete the function?
